One of those days where I don’t really fancy writing. Too sad. Today, Nicolò Zaniolo underwent surgery for Anterior Cruciate Ligament rupture of the knee (ACL).
His loss is far bigger than the actual defeat to Juve. We have lost our powerhouse talisman for a few months, we might be able to see him back around July, ready to train for next season.
Paulo Fonseca and Roberto Mancini will have to do without his services. Only a miracle if he can make it for Euro 2020. And I hope he won’t play for Italy, not a good idea, for him and for Roma. Big risk. So, Nicolò, don’t rush. Get well and take it easy. Forza Roma.
