The Club was formed on the 1st August 2014 while cycling around South Dublin on a beautiful sunny day. I was thinking “where am I going to watch the football this year? Maybe buy Sky Sports? Going again back to friends’ house? Well, there is a pub in town I used to go years ago, it was bit messy with many other fans gathering watching games on dozens of TV screens, but I loved the atmosphere, how about going back there? Soon enough I realized that with a bit of organisation this pub could be the right venue for us. And so, the Roma Club was born. A dummy project with the aim to connect all Roma fans under one roof. I think we did it!
In the meantime, Frazier’s Pub was renamed Murray’s Sports Bar, the biggest Sports Bar in Dublin. Today, fans attend Roma matches at our Dublin’s Sports venue where they can enjoy live coverage in a unique, passionate atmosphere, Curva Sud style!
Members enjoy a number of services including pub discounts, fast track stadium ticketing, away match travel all over Europe and plenty of social events. The Club has grown considerably since, counting with 85 members and had football events with over 100 people attending. We are the biggest foreign fan club here (and the noisiest). We also have thousands followers on social media networks. We have received extensive media coverage by the Italian and irish press. We have established a partnership with major soccer blogs, appeared on TV programmes and we were guests at several radio stations. We write a weekly match report and bring you fresh news articles every day in Italian and English on our website. Our mission is not to stop here. Forward we go!
